These are pictures of the old engine that came out of the GTS. I bought the car from a Mustang guy. He told me he had rebuilt the engine and drove the car for only a short time before parking it. I bought the car 6 years after he parked it in a sheep pen next to a barn in South Dakota.  The engine fired right up and I ran the snot out of it for a couple of years. 

During the tear down I wanted to go through the engine.  Once I opened it up I discovered he had just put a set of rings, and bearings.  He also had a performance cam in it, of unknown size. It had lots of wear on its original 67 bores. Since I had a fresh .030 over 69 engine in my Barracuda, I pulled it, painted it, and dropped it in the GTS.
